This Risk Disclosure explains important risks associated with the Speed Funded Challenge, evaluation and simulated-trading services. It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Programme Rules, Privacy Policy, Restricted Jurisdictions policy and, where applicable, the separate Funded Account Agreement.
Speed Funded is the trading name and brand of Sandsoft Tech Services FZ-LLC (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1. IMPORTANT WARNING
Trading and strategies involving foreign exchange, contracts for difference, commodities, indices, shares, digital assets or other leveraged instruments involve substantial risk. These products and strategies are not suitable for everyone. Leverage can magnify gains and losses, market conditions can change rapidly, and losses in live markets may exceed the amount initially committed where the relevant broker, product and law permit.
Speed Funded does not provide live brokerage or investment services through its Programmes. All Trading Accounts supplied through the Services are demo accounts used in a simulated environment. Nevertheless, the skills, strategies and behaviours tested relate to activities that are inherently risky, and simulated results should not be treated as proof that the same approach will succeed in live markets.
2. SIMULATED TRADING ONLY
2.1. Every Challenge, evaluation and Funded Account made available through the Programme is simulated unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
2.2. No order submitted through a Speed Funded Trading Account is an instruction from you to purchase or sell a real financial instrument. You do not own the notional balance, simulated positions, simulated profits or any financial asset shown in the Trading Account.
2.3. Simulated Capital has no cash value. It cannot be deposited, withdrawn, transferred, pledged, invested or treated as client money.
2.4. A reference to “funding”, “funded”, “capital”, “balance”, “profit”, “loss”, “payout” or similar trading terminology describes the contractual simulated Programme unless the context expressly says otherwise. It does not mean that the Company has opened a live brokerage account for you or transferred real capital to you.
3. NO INVESTMENT SERVICE OR ADVICE
3.1. The Services do not constitute brokerage, dealing, execution of client orders, portfolio management, asset management, custody, investment advice, financial advice, tax advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument.
3.2. Website content, dashboards, statistics, examples, market information, educational material, social-media content and support communications are general in nature. They do not take account of your personal objectives, financial circumstances, needs, knowledge or risk tolerance.
3.3. Nothing made available by Speed Funded should be treated as a promise or representation that a strategy, instrument, Programme or trader will be profitable or suitable.
4. PROGRAMME FEES AND FINANCIAL LOSS
4.1. Programme fees are service fees paid for access to a digital simulated evaluation and related infrastructure. They are not deposits, investments, stakes, trading capital or contributions to a pooled fund. They do not earn interest or an investment return.
4.2. You may lose the full Programme fee if you fail an objective, breach a rule, allow the Account to expire through inactivity, become ineligible, violate the agreement or otherwise do not complete the Programme.
4.3. You should purchase a Programme only with money you can afford to spend entirely. Do not borrow money, use funds required for essential living expenses, or purchase a Programme on the assumption that you will pass or receive a Reward.
4.4. Except for the Programme fee and any separately disclosed optional service fee, you are not required to cover simulated losses shown in a Trading Account. This does not limit your liability for fraud, chargebacks, misuse, damage or another breach as provided in the applicable agreement.
5. LIMITATIONS OF SIMULATED PERFORMANCE
5.1. Hypothetical and simulated results have important limitations. They do not involve the same financial exposure, market impact, liquidity constraints, counterparty conditions, stress, discipline or decision-making pressures as live trading with your own money.
5.2. A simulation may use market-derived prices and may model spreads, commissions, swaps, slippage or execution, but it cannot reproduce every condition present in a live market. Differences may arise from latency, rejected orders, partial fills, liquidity depth, data-source differences, price gaps, news, volatility, trading hours, market closures, platform logic and technical limitations.
5.3. The ability to avoid or withstand a simulated loss does not show that you would have had the financial capacity, margin availability or psychological ability to take the same action in live trading.
5.4. Past performance, back-tested results, Challenge completion, simulated profits and previous Rewards do not predict future simulated or live performance.
6. LEVERAGE, VOLATILITY AND MARKET-EVENT RISK
6.1. Strategies involving leverage can create rapid and significant gains or losses from relatively small price movements. A position may breach a Programme loss limit before a stop-loss order can operate at the expected price.
6.2. Spreads may widen and prices may gap during news announcements, market openings, reduced liquidity, weekends, holidays or exceptional events. Stop-loss, take-profit and other conditional orders are not guaranteed to execute at the displayed or requested level.
6.3. Correlation between positions can cause several trades to lose value at the same time. Positions that appear diversified may be exposed to the same currency, market, sector, event or risk factor.
6.4. Digital assets and certain other markets may trade continuously and may experience extreme volatility, fragmented pricing, outages, forks, regulatory events or other risks.
7. PRICING, DATA AND EXECUTION RISK
7.1. Quotes, charts and simulated execution may be provided or generated using third-party technology and data. Prices may differ from another platform, broker, exchange or data source.
7.2. Spreads, commissions, swaps, execution logic and instrument specifications may affect simulated results and rule calculations. The dashboard and the data assigned to the relevant Trading Account are authoritative for the Programme, subject to correction of an obvious error.
7.3. A price shown on a public chart or external service does not establish that the same price was available, tradable or applicable within the Speed Funded simulated environment.
7.4. Manifest technical, price-feed, calculation or execution errors may be investigated and corrected in accordance with the applicable agreement. A result caused by an error, exploit or non-representative price may be adjusted or excluded.
8. TECHNOLOGY AND CYBERSECURITY RISK
8.1. Websites, dashboards, trading platforms, internet connections, data feeds, payment systems and verification services may be delayed, interrupted, unavailable or affected by maintenance, congestion, cyberattack, software defects, third-party failure or events beyond reasonable control.
8.2. You are responsible for maintaining a suitable device and internet connection, protecting credentials and authentication methods, and confirming the status of orders and positions. Closing a browser or application does not necessarily close a simulated position.
8.3. Do not share credentials or allow another person to operate your Account. Notify support@speedfunded.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
8.4. No system is completely secure or uninterrupted. You should not participate if you cannot accept the operational risks of an online simulated service.
9. PROGRAMME RULE AND BREACH RISK
9.1. Each Programme has specific objectives and limits. These may include daily or overall loss limits, static or trailing drawdown, leverage, trading-day or inactivity requirements, consistency measures, instrument restrictions, maximum exposure, news or weekend rules, and prohibited strategies.
9.2. A single order, open position, fee, spread movement, swap, price gap or period of volatility may cause an immediate breach. Some limits may be measured using equity rather than closed balance and may therefore include floating losses or gains.
9.3. You are responsible for understanding the rules assigned to your Trading Account before trading. Summaries in advertisements, social posts, reviews or affiliate content may be incomplete and do not replace the official Programme Rules and dashboard.
9.4. Account sharing, identity misuse, location concealment, coordinated or opposite trading, unauthorised copying, account management, latency or price-feed exploitation, manipulation, platform abuse and other prohibited conduct may result in disqualification, termination, cancellation of results or loss of eligibility for a Reward.
10. NO GUARANTEE OF PASSING, FUNDING OR REWARD
10.1. Purchasing or participating in a Programme does not guarantee that you will complete a Challenge, receive a Funded Account, obtain access to real capital, receive a Reward, recover a Programme fee, obtain employment or earn income.
10.2. A displayed simulated profit is not automatically a payable amount. Any Reward is conditional on the separate Funded Account Agreement, applicable rules, closed positions, successful identity and compliance checks, review of trading activity, payment requirements and other stated conditions.
10.3. A Funded Account remains simulated. The Company or another entity identified in the Funded Account Agreement may use, analyse or choose to act on trading data, but you have no right to require any trade to be executed in a live market.
10.4. Rewards may be subject to minimum amounts, payment cycles, processing times, provider availability, verification, tax information, fees or other conditions stated in the Funded Account Agreement or dashboard.
11. BEHAVIOURAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL RISK
Trading-style evaluations may encourage overconfidence, excessive risk-taking, revenge trading, overtrading or attempts to recover losses quickly. Programme targets and loss limits should not be treated as an instruction to trade aggressively. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to participate and for taking breaks or stopping if participation negatively affects your judgement, finances or wellbeing.
12. APPLYING SIMULATED EXPERIENCE TO LIVE TRADING
12.1. If you use knowledge, strategies, signals, results or confidence obtained through the Services in a personal brokerage or investment account, you do so independently and entirely at your own risk.
12.2. Live trading may expose you to loss of capital, margin calls, negative balances where permitted, counterparty insolvency, market disruption, regulatory restrictions and tax consequences that do not arise in the same way in a simulation.
12.3. The Company is not responsible for decisions or losses in an account held with a broker, exchange, investment platform or other third party.
13. LEGAL, TAX AND JURISDICTION RISK
13.1. Laws affecting simulated trading programmes, payments, promotions, taxation, financial products and online services differ between jurisdictions and may change.
13.2. You are responsible for determining whether participation is lawful where you are a citizen, resident or physically located and for complying with tax, reporting and other obligations that apply to you.
13.3. The Services are unavailable to Restricted Jurisdictions and sanctioned persons. Eligibility may change because of law, sanctions, payment availability, identity-verification requirements or service-provider restrictions.
14. THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION AND LINKS
The website may refer to independent platforms, data, calendars, educational resources or external links. Unless expressly stated, the Company does not control, endorse or guarantee third-party information. You should verify information independently before relying on it.
15. SUITABILITY AND INDEPENDENT ADVICE
Before purchasing a Programme, consider your experience, understanding of the rules, financial circumstances, time commitment and ability to lose the entire fee. If necessary, obtain independent legal, tax, financial or other professional advice from a suitably qualified adviser. Speed Funded cannot assess suitability for you.
16. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing, accessing or using a Programme, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure; that all trading in the Programme is simulated; that results are hypothetical; that no investment service or advice is provided; that you may lose the full Programme fee; and that passing, funding, income and Rewards are not guaranteed.
