Can You Operate the Plan From Day One to Completion?
Technical analysis becomes useful only when it leads to a repeatable decision.
Across Chart School, you learned to read price, define a strategy, control exposure and review execution. The final step is to connect those parts into one operating plan that can be followed from the first evaluation decision to the last.
The complete system
Your operating plan has six linked layers:
- Current rules: What the exact programme permits and requires.
- Market framework: How trend, structure, volatility and location are read.
- Approved strategies: Which conditions, setups, triggers and exits are eligible.
- Risk controls: Invalidation, position size, aggregate exposure and operating boundaries.
- Daily routine: Preparation, execution, shutdown and emergency procedures.
- Review loop: Metrics, drawdown response, version control and improvement.
If one layer is missing, pressure will fill the gap with improvisation.
Gate 1: confirm evaluation readiness
Before an evaluation begins, answer yes to each category.
Rule readiness
- I have read the current official terms for the exact programme and phase.
- I can explain the daily and overall boundary calculations in plain language.
- I know the relevant reset reference, time zone and restrictions.
- My checklist records when and where the rules were verified.
Strategy readiness
- Every strategy has an eligible market condition, setup, trigger, invalidation and exit.
- Position sizing is calculated from planned risk and actual stop distance.
- Backtest and practice records include costs and valid losing examples.
- I know which conditions make each strategy ineligible.
Operational readiness
- The platform, order types and emergency actions have been practised.
- The daily routine and pause protocol are written.
- The journal and review schedule are ready.
- No required decision depends on memory alone.
A “no” is not a reason to hurry. It identifies the next preparation task.

Gate 2: create the one-page operating card
The full playbook may be long. The one-page card contains the controls needed during the session:
- Programme and phase.
- Rule verification date and official reference.
- Official calculation fields relevant to the account.
- Internal operating boundaries.
- Eligible sessions, markets and strategy cards.
- Aggregate exposure policy.
- Daily and session stop conditions.
- If–then discipline responses.
- Drawdown response stage.
- Emergency support and platform procedure.
The card points back to the full playbook. It does not replace the official terms.
Gate 3: run the daily loop
Before the session
- Verify account state and relevant rules.
- Check trading hours, events and execution conditions.
- Classify the environment and mark locations.
- Select eligible strategies.
- Record exposure and stop conditions.
During the session
- Require every strategy condition.
- Calculate size from structural invalidation.
- Include open, pending and correlated exposure.
- Follow the defined order and management rules.
- Activate pauses and stops exactly as written.
After the session
- Reconcile platform and journal data.
- Grade process before outcome.
- Record valid, invalid and missed trades.
- Update the relevant metrics.
- Secure the platform and end deliberately.
Gate 4: follow the drawdown branch
When the predetermined trigger occurs:
- Stop or restrict new activity according to the response ladder.
- Recalculate official and internal room.
- Classify valid variation, execution degradation, environment mismatch or an unverified assumption.
- Correct process errors without rewriting strategy history.
- Resume only when the documented return conditions are met.
Never make account recovery the objective of the next trade.
Gate 5: review without chasing noise
Use different review horizons for different decisions:
- Per trade: facts, screenshots, execution and adherence.
- Per session: reconciliation and operational issues.
- Prewritten periodic review: opportunity capture, costs, environment and behaviour.
- Strategy sample review: expectancy, drawdown, streaks and possible version changes.
Change one clearly defined element at a time, record the reason, and test the new version separately.
Completion or a new phase does not remove risk
If the account reaches a completion condition, follow the current official confirmation and transition process. Do not assume that an on-screen target alone completes every requirement.
Before any later phase or funded-stage activity:
- Read the current terms for that stage.
- Rebuild the rule translation table.
- Confirm account and platform details.
- Keep the tested strategy and risk controls unless evidence supports a deliberate revision.
- Treat payout, access and conduct conditions as current operational rules, not remembered assumptions.
Reaching a milestone is not evidence that exposure should increase.
Your finished evaluation operating plan
The final document should contain:
- Current-rule translation and verification log.
- Technical-analysis framework.
- Strategy cards and visual examples.
- Position-sizing and aggregate-exposure policy.
- One-page operating card.
- Pre-session, pre-trade and post-session checklists.
- Pause and drawdown response protocols.
- Emergency procedures.
- Journal fields and performance dashboard.
- Review cadence and strategy change log.

Final Chart School assessment
This assessment revisits the full course: chart foundations, applied analysis, strategy design and evaluation performance.
Knowledge Check
Question 1 of 10What is the strongest evidence that an uptrend remains structurally intact?
Chart Challenge
An evaluation objective appears to be reached on the dashboard. What is the next step?
Remember this
Technical analysis provides evidence. A complete operating plan decides when that evidence is sufficient, how much can be exposed and what happens next.

Speed Funded Chart School is provided for general educational purposes only and does not provide personal financial advice. Completing the course, an assessment or an operating-plan checklist cannot guarantee evaluation success, funding, payouts or profitable trading. Trading involves substantial risk. Hypothetical examples have limitations, and current programme rules, legal terms and official account information always take precedence.
